How is my order shipped and what are the estimated shipping and handling charges?

All artwork is sent via Federal Express standard two-day delivery. Shipping and handling cost is $10.00 per poster and $25.00 per fine art print.

Can I pick up the artwork myself?

Yes. You must indicate when you order that you will pick up your artwork rather than have it shipped. Call us at 202-633-8680 to make arrangements for pickup (Mon-Fri, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays Eastern Time). Orders can be picked up at the Smithsonian Associates Office Suite 3077, S. Dillon Ripley Center, 1100 Jefferson Dr., SW, Washington, DC.

What is the refund and exchange policy?

If, for any reason, you are not pleased with your purchase you may return it, undamaged, within 15 days of receipt for a refund of the full purchase price. All Certificates of Authenticity must be returned along with the art.

In the unlikely event that an item is damaged due to shipping, contact us at 202-633-8680 or email Artcollectors@si.edu within 5 days of receipt to make arrangements for replacement.

Please inspect your purchase when you receive it. We suggest that you frame the print as soon as possible on acid free mounting and acid free mats to maintain the integrity of the print.

How do I become a Resident Associate Member so I can receive a discount on my purchase?

When you purchase artwork from the Art Collectors Program there is an option to become a Resident Associate Member at that time for the Member discount. Smithsonian Resident Associate Members receive discounts on all art commissioned by The Smithsonian Associates.
